As wedding experts, we have seen several different additions to weddings. Weddings are not what they used to be back in the day. We always ask couples who come to visit our venue, “What do you and your significant other do for fun?” A lot of couples come in worrying about their guests. We till them that “Your wedding is about you two and no one else. Your guests are there for you.” Couples like to add a touch of their personality into their wedding ceremony and reception. Just last week we had a couple that, at the end of the ceremony, they exited by dancing to the song “Walk it out”. All their guests were laughing and it added a unique special touch to their wedding.
Some couples like to add their special touch to their attire. Either by the bride wearing cowgirl boots under her dress, or the men wearing superhero attire under their suits!
Wedding traditions are taking a whole new form today. We took notice that not only are the brides adding different touches to the white wedding dress, the groomsmen are starting to get away from the tux and move towards suits. We asked the question, “To Tux or not to Tux”?
Here are some ideas for groomsmen attire!
Who doesn’t love suspenders!
Many groomsmen will wear the suspenders with no jacket. To make the groom stand out, the groom will throw on the jacket! Here is a picture at one of our weddings where the men are repping the suspenders.
Groomsmen need to show their child side some way!
Men love their superhero action movies!
Who said you need to wear those uncomfortable stiff dress shoes!
Showing off the popular converse or bringing in the colors of the rainbow!
Need another way for the groom to stand out? Why not do a different color tie then the groomsmen!
or have the groomsmen wear the ties and then the groom wear the bow tie! 
Want a Jacket but not the full Jacket look? Opt for the Vests!
The vests are more casual than a jacket but still look amazing! These two couples we hosted at our venue, had two different approaches to the vest. The wedding on the top dressed the vests up, whereas the wedding on the bottom took the casual look of the vests. Both look great!
Lastly, just want to stick to tradition? Go with the simple suit!
These pictures are from weddings that we had who stuck with the simple attire of grey suits. They look pretty sharp though!
This was one of our very first weddings. They took the more fancier approach and did full out tux’s!
