Its our Favorite Time of the Year!
As the holidays approach and you are starting to get ready for all the parties you may be thinking to yourself ‘where do I even begin!’? As Event Specialist at Hollywood Venue, here are our top 5 favorite holiday ideas, themes and more as we prep for our upcoming holiday parties this year!
Hot Cocoa Bar
Create a Hot Chocolate Bar with different toppings to add to a nice warm cup of Hot Chocolate! You can do little bowls of marshmallows, peppermint, chocolate chips, caramel, and more! We recommend using a crockpot to make your hot cocoa as it will keep it warm throughout the party and it is absolutely delicious! For mugs you can go to the dollar store, get mugs for $1 and then run over to Michaels and get either sharpies or ceramic markers. Decorate the mugs and then stick them in the oven. S’more Station!
Do your guests love some campfire food? Set up a S’more station where your guests can create their own delicious snack! Include Graham crackers, marshmallows, chocolate, peppermint and more! All you need are some sternos, sturdy sticks and the delicious edible food.
Peppermint Platter!
We thought this was a really nice touch to add to your holiday party and could be the talk of the party. Create a platter out of peppermints to display your treats such as cupcakes! Click on the picture to see how to create the peppermint platter
How the Grinch Stole Pastries!
There has to be some type of healthy food at your holiday party to even out all the delicious pastries! We thought these were adorable and very simple to make in no time! Click on the picture for the ingredients and directions.

We love food some much that we get a little carried away! However, here are some ideas about decorating for your holiday party that we loved!
